Originally from Germany, Anja came to the US as a Nanny. Anja met Todd Stief and the rest is history. Since 1998 she has been the lifeblood of Dish and Design. Anja is the youngest of 3 children and the only girl. Her Grandma and Mom put her to work early in the kitchen. Food and family gatherings were a huge part of her life growing up and her love of cooking started. Anja will tell you she absolutely loves working with our customers from the beginning stages of planning their meetings or working with our Brides to ensure we make their special day Special! Anja says D&D makes the best Shrimp & Grits and from our daily menu she loves our Fresh Salads.
If you don’t find Anja at work, you might find her driving her kids around to either soccer practices or games. Anja loves to stay active and balance her life out with running, lifting weights and being outdoors or on the water. A couple of times a year you can find Anja working on their family farm in Ohio, but she does not spend as much time there as her husband, Todd, but she loves being on the farm.
